A pack of 12 pencils costs RS 24 ria has only RS 10 with her .How many pencils can ria buy with this amount?

12x = 24rs (taking x as no of pencils)
=> x=24/12
=> x=1/2
=> x = 0.5 Rs

Here 12 pencils cost 24.So the cost of one pencil is 24 by 12 .So we will get the cost of one pencil as 2.
Number of pencils she could get from rupees 10
=2×10 = 20
