Given:

A packet of crisp weighs 32 gram to the nearest gram.

To Find:

The least and the greatest weight for 10 packets.

Solution:

A packet of crisp weighs 32 gram to the nearest gram.

⇒ The lowest possible  = 31.5 grams

⇒ The greatest possible = 32.4 grams

Find the least possible weight:

1 packet = 31.5 g

10 packets = 31.5 x 10

10 packets = 315g

Find the greatest possible weight:

1 packet = 32.4 g

10 packets = 32.4 x 10

10 packets = 324 g

Answer: The least weight per multipack is 315g and the greatest weight is 324g
