☺️☺️☺️ I think you like it

Area of cardboard = (40 × 28) cm²

After taking margin

L = 40-2-2 = 36 cm

B = 28-2-2 = 24 cm

Area by subtracting margin = ( 36 × 24 ) cm²

Area of margin = 40×28-(36×24)

===> 1,120 - 864

===> 256 cm²

I hope it's help you ☺️☺️

Thank you

painting is placing on a cardboard :-

the length of painting be 40 cm and the breadth be 28cm

now ,

area of painting = l × b = 1120 cm²

now ,

subtracting , 4 from from length =36cm and from breadth = 24 cm

now area = 864cm²

now ,

area of margin = 1120 - 864 = 256 cm²

hope it helps
