Given:-

Cost of painting and sculpture= 1500

Cost of painting = Sculpture + 1000

Now,

P - S = 1000 ... i )

P + S = 1500 ... ii )

Adding both the equations we get :-

2P = 2500

P = 2500/ 2 = Rs 1250

Now, Cost of sculpture = 1500 - 1250 = Rs 250

Hence, The cost of sculpture is option c) $250 .
