SOLUTION ::

By the given condition

Mutual inductance = μ = 1.5

μ = 1.5Initial current = I₁ = 0

I₁ = 0Final current = I₂ = 20

I₂ = 20 Change in current = Δl = l₂ - I₁ = 20 - 0 = 20

Now we know that

Change in the magnetic flux =  ΔФ = M×ΔI,

So  ΔФ = 1.5 × 20 = 30

Therefore the change of flux linkage with the other coil = 30WB

➠ Solution :-

Here, we have

Mutual inductance, µ = 1.5 H

  • Initial current, I₁ = 0 A
  • Final current, I₂ = 20 A

Then,

Change in current = 20 - 0 = 20 A.

Now,

Time taken, t = 0.5 seconds

Here, we have

Induced emf, e = dΦ/dt ...... (i)

Here, dΦ s the change in the flux linkages with the coil.

Here, we get from eq (i),

⇒ dΦ/dt = µ (dl/dt)

⇒ dΦ = 1.5 × 20

⇒ dΦ = 30 Wb.

Hence, the change in the flux linkage is 30 Wb.
