since sides of rectancle are at 90° so, let side1 of the given rec. be 3y and side2 be 4y now using pythagoras theorem. hxh = b×b+ p×p ..putting diagonal as hypotenues ,side1 as base(b) , side2 as perpendicular(p) :- 20×20 = 3y×3y + 4y×4y => 400 =9y×y + 16y×y => 400=25y×y => y×y = 400÷25 => y=4
So, Side1 = 3y=3×4=12 Side2 = 4y=4×4=16
So, Side1 = 3y=3×4=12 Side2 = 4y=4×4=16
