A pair of bullock exerts a force of 140 N on a plough. The field being ploughed is 15 m long. How much work is done in ploughing the length of the field

w = f \times s
where w is work done
f is force applied.
s is distance travelled.

so, workdone when 140 N applied & 10m distance travelled will be
 = 140 \times15

so, workdone=2100 joules
