A pair of rabbits are too young to produce in their first month . In the second every subsequent month , they produce a new pair . Each new pair of rabbits produce a new pair in their second month and in every subsequent month . Assuming no rabbit dies , what is the no of rabbits at 9 month this question is from class 10 ncert pg no 94 maths pls give me complete solution

Answer:

a1=1, a2=1

a3=2=1+1=a1+a2

a4=3=1+2=a2+a3

a5=5=2+3=a3+a4

a6=8=3+5=a4+a5 and so on

In general

an=an-1+an-2 for n>2.

Thus,the above is described as

A1=1, a2=1 and an=an-1+an-2 for all n>2
