Let shoes cost be=y
Let the cost of socks be=X
Given,
y=14x+20
Also given,
9y = 130x
y=(130/9)x
Therefore,
(130/9)x= 14x+20
130x =9(14x+20)
130x = 126x+180
4x = 180
x=45=cost of socks
y=(130/9)*45=650
