how many paper clips could I make with 5 ft of wire?

One paper clip is made out of 4 inches of wire.

5ft = 5 
× 12 = 60 inches 

number of paper clips from 5ft wire = 60in / 4in = 15

you can make 15 paper clips from 5ft of wire.

Given that ,
A paper clip is made out of 4 inches of wire .
We know ,
1ft = 12 inches
5ft = 5 × 12 = 60 inches

So , unitary method can be used

So, number of clips that can be made
60/4 = 15

Thus,
15 paper clips can be made
