Area of paper =16*12=192 cm^2
Area of circular portion=1/2*22/7*12/2*12/2
=11/7*6*6
=56.57
Area left=192-56.57
=135.43=ANS

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: Radius = 12/2 .....=6cm

Area of semicircle = 1/2 πr^2

= 1/2( 22/7 x 6 x 6 )

= 396/7 cm^2

Area of rectangle = l x b

= 16 x 12

= 192 cm^2

Area of remaining portion= 196-396/7

= 196x7/1x7 - 396/7

( taking LCM)

= 938/7 cm^2

= 134 cm^2
