a paper is in the form of a square of side 20cm semi circles are drawn inside the square paper on two sides as diameter the semicircle portions are cut off find the area of remaining paper.(use pi=3.14)

hey mate

if the figure I have drawn is correct then,

area of semi circle =
1 \div 2\pi \:  {r}^{2}
therefore area of two semicircles is

2× area of semi circle

also area of squar is (a^2)

therefore required area is

= area of square - area of two semi circles

it's difficult to solve on it
