Area of Remaining path = area of rectangle - area of semicircle

                                        = 21*15 - π*(10.5)^2/2 = 141.82 cm^2

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

length will be always longer than breadth

length = 21 and breadth = 15

now a semicircle is cut of in length

diameter of semicircle = 21

radius = 21/2

now area of semicircle= pie  x r² / 2

                                    = 22/7 x 21/2 x 21/2 x 1/2

                                   = 33 x21 /4

                                    = 696/4

                                   = 174 cm²

area of the paper = 15 x 21

                              = 315 cm²

area of remaining part = area of rectangular paper - area of semicircle

                                    = 315 - 174

                                     = 141 cm²
