A parachute slows a skydiver form 85 m/s to 45 m/s in 4.5 seconds. What is the acceleration of the parachute?

Formula : a = (v-u)/t  

u = 85 m/s

v = 45 m/s

t = 4.5 s

a = (45-85)/4.5

a = -40/4.5
