Last week I saw a young girl who was apparently looking anxious talking to an old shopkeeper outside a corporate building. I knew something was up and kept on looking at her, she seemed anxious yet gentle. When she left the shop, I went to the same shop and saw that the shopkeeper was an old man. I asked for a packet of gum and gave him a 100 rupee note. I kept on waiting for the change, but he seemed really slow counting the money. I was loosing my patience. Then after I got the change back, I saw the same lady talking on the phone just outside the building with the widest smile. She said that she was so late but she managed to get the position. At that moment, I finally realized that she was really late yet she chose to remain kind to that old man. It really surprised me and helped me learn the importance of tolerance and patience.
