घरों में चीं -ची करती नन्ही गौरया अब कहीं -कहीं ही देखने को मिलती है। गौरया यानि के चिड़िया एक छोटा सा सुंदर पक्षी है। जो ज्यादातर घरों में पायी जाती है। इसकी लम्बाई 14 से 16 सेंटीमीटर तक होती है। यह ज्यादातर झुंडों में रहना पसंद करती है। चिड़िया का रंग हल्का भूरा और सफ़ेद होता है। इसकी पीली चोंच इसे और आकर्षित बना देती है। इसकी चोंच और आंखों पर काला रंग होता है और इनके पैर भूरे होते हैं। मादा के सिर और गले पर भूरा रंग नहीं होता। चिड़िया पहाड़ी इलाकों में बहुत कम पाई जाती है। भोजन की तलाश में नन्ही गौरया मीलो तक का सफ़र तय कर लेती है।

चिड़िया को अलग -अलग जगहों पर अलग नामों से पुकारा जाता है जैसे चिड़ी, चिमनी, चकली और चेर आदि। गौरया एक ऐसा पक्षी है जो एशिया और यूरोप में सामान्य रूप से पाया जाता है। इसके इलावा यहां -यहां मनुष्य का रहन -बसेरा रहा इस पक्षी ने उनका अनुकरण किया।

चिड़िया (Sparrow) का मुख्य भोजन अनाज , फूल , बीज आदि है। गौरया एक बार में तीन बच्चों को जन्म देती है। पुराने समयों में चिड़िया का घोंसला कच्चे घर की मोरी , गाडर और छत्तों में हुआ करता था। परन्तु आज मकान पक्के होने के कारन चिड़िया को घोंसला बनाने के लिए जगह नहीं रही और यह बिलुप्त होने के कगार पर पहुंच चुकी है। इस नन्ही गौरया को मुड़ वापिस बुलाने के लिए थोड़ी सी जगह उपलब्द्ध करानी होगी ताकि वहां अपना घोंसला बना अंडे और बच्चों को जन्म दे सके।

गौरया फसलों में पाए जाने वाले कीटों को खत्म करने में अहम योगदान देती है किन्तु फसलों पर कीटनाशक दवाईयों का इस्तेमाल होने की वजय से इनकी संख्या में बहुत कमी आयी है। अब इसका अस्तित्व खतरे में मंडरा रहा है जिसके पीछे का सबसे बड़ा कारण पक्के मकान और जलवायु में होता हुआ परिवर्तन है।

हर वर्ष 20 मार्च को गौरया दिवस मनाया जाता है ताकि लोगों में इस नन्ही सी चिड़िया के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ सके।

Generally, in class 10th board’s course curriculum student studies five subjects namely, Maths, Science, Social Science, First and Second Language. This board exams occurs during the month of March or April and results are announced in May-June, after completion of exams and declaration of results students choose streams of their interest (Maths, Biology, Humanities or Commerce) for higher education. Percentage scored in this exam act as a basis for stream selector, therefore students needs to perform very well in this exam. In every board pattern, whether it is CBSE, Maharashtra or Karnataka SSLC performance of students matters a lot, and it becomes a key factor for getting admission in higher secondary schools of their choice. Hence, complete focus should be given in class 10th board preparation, some quick tips on the same are as follows:

Go through the syllabus properly and prioritize your subjects which needs to be revised.

1. Do your strength and weakness analysis and know your command over all the subjects.

2. Complete all your notes, get your doubts cleared in advance.

3. Prepare a list of concepts, formulas, derivations etc. (for Maths and Science) on a chart paper and stick it on the walls or pin it on the notice board of your study room, glance and revise them as much as possible.

Class 12th board exam is the next milestone in the journey of education, in comparison with class 10th the degree of complexity in class 12th is higher.
