environment has two components physical component and biological components . physical component has no life for example sunlight, air , water, soil etc. biological component has life for example human being , trees , forest, animals, insects ,birds etc.

both are interdependent on each other. if we harm one of the component effect can be seen on the other. for example if we cut the trees which are biological environment then soil erosion will take place and soil is physical component. in the same way if earthquake occurs on land which is physical environment then loss of life will take place which is biological environment
