I Just can’t get what kind of pleasure they get by scribbling on the historical monuments.
Historical monuments are a heritage for us and a reason to be proud of. These monuments provide us a different position in the world, owing to their architectural beauty. These historical monuments attracts numberless visitors to our country and help immensely to promote tourism in the country. India generates a huge amount of revenue from tourism, every year.
People (read idiots) who scribble on these monuments think they are making their names eternal and they are always right. but it’s not like that. They are practically damaging the beauty of those historical monuments and causing them to deteriorate before time.
There are many people around the web who have expressed on this issue and they very much speak my mind. Here, I am just collecting some statements of school kids and see how aware they are of their responsibilities towards their country. Adults (idiot adults) should learn from them.
The various national monuments of India are part of ancient heritage of India, something which is closely associated with the identity of the nation. A series of structures or areas deemed to be of national importance are termed as national monuments and are thus conserved.
