a parallelogram and a rhombus are equal in area.the diagonals of the rhombus are 110m and 44m. if the base of a parallelogram is 88cm, find its corresponding altitude.

Area of rhombus = a * b/2

                            = 110 * 44/2

                            =2420 sq m

Now, Area of parallelogram = b * h

                                       2420 = 0.88 * h

                                  Thus,   h =  2420/0.88 = 2750 sq m
