Let the base of parallelogram be a m

According to question,

Area of parallelogram = Area of square

=> Base × Height = Side^2

=> a × 25 = 40 × 40

=> a = 8 × 8

=> a = 64

Base of parallelogram = 64 m

\text {Your answer !!}

\textbf {Given =>}

\textbf {Area of parallelogram = Area of square}

\textbf {Side of the square = 40m}

\textbf {Altitude of parallelogram = 25m}

\textbf {Find =>}

\textbf {Base of parallelogram! }

area \: of \: parallelogram = area \: of \: square \\  \\  =  > base  \times height =  {(side)}^{2}  \\  \\  =  > base \times 25 =  {(40)}^{2}  \\  \\  =  > base \times 25 = 40  \times 40 \\  \\  > base \times 25 = 1600 \\  \\  =  > base =  \frac{1600}{25}  \\  \\  =  > base = 64m

\textbf {Hence, your answer => Base = 64m !!}
