a parallelogram and square have the same area. if the sides of the square measure 40m and altitude of the parallelogram measures 25m, find the length of the corresponding base of the parallelogram.

=40^2
=1600m
area of parallelogram=bh
=(25b)m
area of square=area of parallelogram
1600=25b
b=1600/25
b=64m
