A parallelogram has sides of 15 cm and
12 cm. If the distance between the 15 cm sides
is 6 cm, find the distance between 12 cm sides.​

Area of a parallelogram =base×height.

The area of the parallelogram remains the same, if we consider any of the base and its corresponding height to calculate it.

Hence, Area of the parallelogram, =15×6=12×height

=>height=7.5cm

Hence, the distance between the parallel sides of length 12cm is 7.5cm.
