A parallelogram of base 48 cm and height 25 cm has the same area as a triangle of base 80 cm. Find the height of the triangle.

Area of ||GM= area of rect.

l×b=1/2×B×h

48×25=1/2×80×h

48×25=40h

40h=48×25

40h=1200

h=1200/40

h=120/4

h=30

Area of of parallelogram is equal to area of triangle

Base of triangle is equal to 80 CM

To find: height of triangle

Area of parallelogram = b× h

=48×25

=1200cm²

Area of triangle =1/2 × bxh

1200=1/2×80× h

1200×2/80= h
