A parent organism of unknown genotype is mated in a test cross. Half of the offspring have the same phenotype as the parent. What can be concluded from thisresult?

It can be concluded that the parent is heterogenous (Aa)

Parent organism would be (Xx)such that during test cross when recessive offspring (xx) is crossed to parent phenotype will be either (Xx)or (xx).
Thats why ratio will be 1:1
