a park 80 m by 65 m has a 3m wide track all around it. A wall has been constructed around the track leaving a space for gate which is 2 m. What is the length of the outer boundary leaving the gate which has a wall ? Find the Perimeter of the boundary without the track .

Length of outer boundary leaving the gate = (3+65+3) + (3+80+3) + (3+65+3) + (3+80-2+3)

= 75+86+71+84

= 312m

Perimeter of park = 2(65+80)

= 2x145

= 290m
