A park has a 2 meter walkway inside along the Periphery.

Along with walkway Park is 40 m long ,

∴ with out walkway the length of the park will be = [40 - (2 +2)m ]=36m

Along with walkway Park is 22 meter wide = 22 m

∴ with out walkway the width of the park will be =  [ 22 - ( 2+2)m]= 18m

now we can find out the area of the park with out the walkway.

Hence area of the park = L × W= 36m ×18m=648m²

Ans :- The area of the park with out the walkway will be 648m².

          (D) 648m² will be the correct option.
