Given: A circle in playground.

To find: Area of each section of park.

Solution:

  • Now we have given a circular ground which is divided in 4 equal sections.
  • The radius of the circle is 10 meters.
  • Now the area of the four sections will be equal as the sections are equally divided.
  • So area of circle is πr². Putting the value of radius in this, we get:

                 π x (10)² = 100π

  • Now its divided in 4 equal sections, so:

                 100π / 4 = 25π

Answer:

So each section has an area of 25π.
