Let, l be longer side of parallelogram and b= smaller side

From question, l = 6b-102

Perimeter (P) = 146m

Now, P = l+l+b+b

or, P = 2(l+b)

or, 146 = 2(6b-102+b)

or, 146 = 2(7b-102)

or, 146/2 = 7b-102

or, 73 = 7b-102

or, 7b-102 = 73

or, 7b = 73+102

or, 7b= 175

or, b= 175/7

= 25m

Again, l= 6b-102

= 6×25 -102

= 150-102

= 48m

Thus, longer side= 48m and shorter side = 25m
