Answer:

0.675 m2

Step-by-step explanation:

90×75=6750 m2

After path is added around rectangle, new length =90+2×5=100 m

New breadth =75+2×5=85 m

Area of rectangle with path =100×85=8500 m2

So,

Area of path = Area of rectangle with path − Area of rectangle without path

Area of path =8500−6750

                      =1750 m2

We know,

1 m2=0.0001

So,

6750 m2=6750×0.0001

                =0.675 m

Hence area of ground =6750 m2=0.675 m

Given:-

Length 90m

Breadth 75m

To find:-

Area of path

According to question:-

Area of garden = L × b

90m × 75 = 6750m²

★ length of the garden including path:-

90 + 5 + 5 = 100m

★ Breadth of the garden including path:-

75 + 5 + 5 = 85

Area of the garden including path

100 × 85 = 8500m²

Area of path = 8500 - 6750 = 1750m²
