A park, in the shape of quadrilateral ABCD, has angle C=90° ,AB= 9m, BC=12m CD=5m and AD=8m. How much area does it occupy?​

As CD is given perpendicular so it is the height of the Quadrilateral.

Area of trapezium = ½ × Sum of parallel sides × height

= ½ × (8+12)×5

= ½ × 20 × 5 = 50 m²
