Solution -

According to the given question , the park is 1500m long and 750 m wide . Let us find the perimeter of the park first.

Perimeter of the park :

> 2 [ Length + Breadth ]

> 2 [ 1500 + 750 ]

> 2 [ 2250 ]

> 4500 m or 4.5 km .

Thus the perimeter of park is 4.5 km . Now the cyclist is taking 4 rounds of the park and he is moving at a speed of 4.5 km/hr .

He can cover the entire park in 1 hour at the present rate. To cover 4 rounds , he will take 4 hours . This is the required answer.

Answer:

4 hours

Explanation:

Length of park =1500m

Breadth of park =750m

Perimeter of park = 2(l+b)

=2(1500+750)

=2×2250

=4500m

Distance covered by cyclist = 4×4500=18000

m= 18km

Speed = distance/ time

Time = 18/4.5=4 hours

Hence, the time taken is 4 hours.
