Boundary of circle=circumference of circle

Formula for circumference of circle=2πr

According to the question,

2πr=440

πr=220

r=220/π

We know that π=22/7

r=220×7/22

r=70 metres

To find: Diameter

Diameter = 2r = 2×70 = 140 m

To find: Area

Area=πr²=22/7×70=220m²

Rate=225/m²

Cost=225×220=49,500 Rs.

Therefore, answers:

Diameter = 140 metres

Cost=49,500 Rs.
