A park is rectangular in shape . It's length is 500m and 300m . Five square flower bed of size 50 m are dug. Find the remaining area of the park .

given :

length = 500m

breadth= 300m

Area rectangular park = L x b

= 500 x 300 = 150000 m^2

now 50 m is length of the flower bed = (50)^2

=2500m^2

remaining area = 150000 - 2500 = 147500m^2
