A park is rectangular in shape. Its length is
500 m and breadth is 300 m. Five square flower
bed of size 50 m are dug. Find the remaining area
of the park.

b=300m

bed size: 50m

To find: remaining area

Solution: Area of rectangle÷area of bed

= 500×300÷50

= 3000m2
