Find the area of the Square Garden:

Area = Length x Length

Area = 6 x 6 = 36 m²

Find the area of the remaining inner portion:

Length = 6 - 2 - 2 = 2 m

Area = Length x Length

Area = 2 x 2 = 4 m²

Find the area of the path:

Area of the path = 36 - 4 = 32 m²

Find the cost of the flowers:

1 m² =Rs 5

4 m² = 5 x 4 = Rs 20

Answer: The area of the path is 32m² and the cost of cultivating the flowers is Rs 20

Find the area of the Square Garden:

Area = (side) ²
= (6)²

= 6 x 6 = 36 m²

the area of the remaining inner portion:-

Length = 6 - 2 - 2 = 2 m

Area = Length x Length

Area = 2 x 2 = 4 m²

Area of the path = 36 - 4 = 32 m²

the cost of the flowers:-

1 m² =Rs 5

4 m² = 5 x 4 = Rs 20

Hence,

The area of the path is 32m² and the cost of cultivating the flowers is  \bold {\huge {Rs 20}}
