When a student X takes food for 25 days, he has to pay rupees 1750 as hostel charges ,whereas a student Y, who takes food for 28 days, pays rupees 1900 as hostel charges. Find the fixed Charge and the cost of food per day

so eq is , x+25y= 1750.......1
x+28 y =1900.....2
subtract it
-3 y=-150
y=50
put value of y in 1
x=500
