Let the family buys x queteral wheat

Let the cost of expense be y

When rate is 250

250+y=1000

When rate is 240

240 + y = 980

Solving the other equation we get ,

x =2 and y = 500

When rate is Rs.350

Monthly expenses = 350 ×2 +500 = 1200
