a partial on turn table in circle with velocity 20cm/s and acceleration 20cm/s^2 if it shifted half of radius of original value then what is velocity acceleration?​

Velocity of the particle in circular motion is equal to w.r, so if w is constant the velocity is proportional to r. Here the particle is kept at the half radius. ∴ Velocity will be half i.e., 10sm.

Similarly, acceleration is w2r, here too w2 is constant. So acceleration is also proportional to ‘r’.

Making radius half will make acceleration half i.e. 10cm/s2
