Answer:

As the direction of the constant force is perpendicular to the velocity of the particle, therefore particle is revolving in a circle. This motion of the particle is termed as uniform circular motion in which the magnitude of velocity (speed) is constant so as kinetic energy.

A particle in uniform circular motion has constant kinetic energy because -

• The constant kinetic energy is only possible when the body has a constant amount of speed.

• Now,a particle which is moving in an uniform circular motion will have constant speed and acceleration as well. Here, the acceleration doesn't affect the constant speed because the acceleration is caused by the change of direction not by the change of magnitude,in this case.

• So,the constant speed of the uniform circular motion is the reason behind it's constant kinetic energy.
