Given :-

  • A partical is moving along a circular path of radius 16m.

  • It completes one revolution in 30 second.

  • Total time of motion is 75 seconds.

To Find :-

  • The displacement of the particle.

Solution :-

  • In 30 seconds, a particle completes one revolution.

So,

75 seconds can be break down as

  • 75 seconds = 30 seconds + 30 seconds + 15 seconds

Thus,

  • In 75 seconds, a particle takes 2 complete revolution and one half revolution.

As we know that,

  • Displacement is the shortest distance between the initial and final position.

Thus,

  • Displacement, PQ = Diameter = 2 × radius = 32 m.

\overbrace{ \underline { \boxed { \rm \therefore \: The \: displacement \: of \: particle \: is \: 32 \: m)}}}

 \boxed{ \sf \: Option \: (3) \: is \: correct}

Additional Information :-

  • Displacement is the shortest distance between the initial and final position.

  • It is a vector quantity i.e. it has both magnitude and direction.
