A partical moving with a intial velocity of 5.0m/s is subjected to a uniform acceleration of -2.5m/s. find the displacement in the next 4.0 second

Here,

a = -2.5 ms-2

u = 5 ms-1

t = 4 s

 s = ut + ½at2

=> s = 5×(4) + ½ ×(-2.5)×(4)2

=> s = 20 – 20 = 0

The displacement becomes =0  after 4 s
