Explanation:

a= 2m/s^2

t1= 10sec

u = 0 m/s

s1 = ut + 1/2at^2

=(0)(10) + 1/2(2)(10)^2

= 10 × 10

s1= 100m

v1 = u + at

= 0 + (2)(10)

= 20 m/s

t2 = 30 sec

v = 20m/s

s2 = v × t2

= 20 × 30

= 600 m

-a = 4

v = 0

u = v1 = 20

v^2 = u^2 +2as

(0)^2 = (20)^2 + 2(-4)s

0 = 400 - 8s

8s = 400

s = 400/8

= 50m

total s = 50+600+100

= 750m
