A particle at P is acted by following forces:
(a) 200 N inclined at 30° with East towards North
(b) 250 N towards North
(c) 300 N towards North West
(d) 350 N inclined at 40° with West towards South.
Find the resultant of all these forces and its direction,
Ans. 456N, 47° 42' with horizontal​

First select a coordinate axis then draw a 200N force with suitable scale I.e 4cm 30⁰ with eastward then join 250N I.e 5cm tirad North then add another 6cm the previous head towards noth and add 7cm with the previous head inclined 40⁰west towards south .

then join the final head with the first tail and measure
