hey there.

we know that displacement covered in nth second is given by :-

=) Sn = u + 1/2 × (2n-1)a


where "a " is the acceleration of particle and u is the initial velocity..

now according to given question--

=) u = 0 m/s

=) s = 150 m

=) n = 8

so put these values in given formula.

=). 150 = 0 + 1/2 × ( 2×8-1) a

=) 150 = 15a/2 =) a = 150×2/15

=) a = 20 m/s^2 ans...
