the distance and displacement will be same because it is the linear motion ( straight line motion)

Hey here is your answer u r looking for..

Displacement will be 2r mean diameter ..

and distance will be half of circumference of circle having r as radius = 2πr/2==>πr..

Hence, distance = D
displacement= πr...
