A particle executes 3 revolutions per second, in a circle of radius 12cm Calculate its angular velocity and linear velocity.

In one revolution angle covered is 360° or 2π

ω=angle/time

=2π×3/1

=6π rad /sec

ω=v/r

v=ωr

= 6π×12

= 72π cm/sec
