Given: x= A/2 in t= 1sec

To find: T( time period of motion)

Solution:

Let the amplitude of the motion be A and angular velocity be w.

it is given that the particle executes S.H.M from extreme position. so the S.H.M equation will be;

x= Acoswt

now, x= A/2

A/2= Acoswt

coswt=1/2

wt= π\3

w= 2π\T

2πt/T=π\3

2t×3=T

therefore, Time period of the motion that is T= 6sec
