Formula for velocity of a particle executing SHM at any instant is :-

v = ω√(a^2 - y^2)

when velocity is maximum at mean position

then y = 0

now the formula will be like

v = ωa

ω = 2πf (f is frequency = 1/T)

ω = 2π/T

ω = 2π/2 = π sec-1

v = aω

v = 5π cm sec^-1
