Here is ur answer :-
_______________________________
Given,
Initial velocity, u = 0
Acceleration, a = 8m/s^2
Time, t = 5sec
So, first we have to find final velocity
v = u + at
=> v = 0 + 8*5
=> v = 40m/s
So, final velocity is 40m/s
Now we find the distance.
2as = v^2 - u^2
2 * 8 * s = (40)^2 - 0^2
16s = 1600
s = 1600/16
s = 100m
So, the distance travelled is 100 m
