a particle in moving along a straight line at t = 0 it starts from x = 2m and reaches x = -5m at t=12s .find the average velocity of the particles for 12s interval starting from t=0​

Since it is moving in a straight line We can use the formula

Average Velocity=Total Displacement/Total time

Average Velocity= -5+(-2)/12

Average Velocity= -7/12

So Average Velocity= -7/12 m/sec
